Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) wanted to help their corporate customers cope with the increased challenges of business travel by making travelers experience as efficient and pleasant as possible. Iceberg Solution
CWT travel has selected Iceberg's Intelligent Engine as the software platform for their mobile service offering called 'Freedom'. The Iceberg solution was chosen for its unique ability to interface to the calendars of unaffiliated mobile users.
The Freedom service works like this. CWT corporate customers sign up for the Freedom service. At that point, business travelers employed by their corporate customers enroll in the service using CWT's Symphonie portal, and then download and install Freedom software on their desktops and mobile devices. The installation process is fully automated takes about 15 minutes to complete. Once signed up, travelers receive all their trip details including itinerary, hotel and car reservation detail, driving directions, alternative flights and weather every time they sync their devices.
